If you're not living under a rock, you've probably heard of chat GPT and how it's revolutionary and going to change everything about how the world works and bring about the next technological revolution etc etc etc.
So after hearing about it, playing with it with some nonsense, I put this technology to work. I asked it to write an article on the impact of technology on
the future of sustainability in the fashion industry. I asked it to do it in the style that already exists on this blog. It wrote a fantastic, albeit short article.
I did not write this, an AI did.

So yeah, I may not need to sit and break my head over what to write about on this blog any more; painstakingly researching articles and subjects that may or may not be interesting to people.
I guess the real question here is how to feel about it. Obviously there's some part of me inside screaming about how this is the beginning of the end, it's something out of the Matrix and we should all run and hide from this technology. But there's another part, I hope a more rational part of me that's amazed and hopeful. Maybe what the world needs right now is a revolution. Maybe we need to finally utilize technology to do the work for us. That was the whole point in developing it in the first place, wasn't it? Combine that with the fact that this technology is in its absolute infancy (at the time of writing this article, the program has been release for about 6 weeks give or take); it seems like there is so much untapped potential out there for what we as humans can do with it.
So I'll continue to write my own thoughts here - as of yet I doubt that any AI could duplicate those. But when I need to do something boring, something tedious, something that is great for SEO but I have neither the time nor the mental energy to do it, it's good to know that I have a resource to utilize.
